Choosing an eating disorder treatment facility for yourself, a loved one or your own patient is not easy. Why Choose Center for Discovery

At CFD, we believe success begins skills that can be transferred into real life. Whether patients are in a residential treatment center (RTC), partial hospitalization program (PHP) or intensive outpatient program (IOP), they will be supported by our caring staff to understand what life looks like after treatment and develop a sense of the life in recovery ahead of them. At CFD, treatment takes place in warm, welcoming settings that model the environments one may experience after treatment. Here’s a look at what makes CFD the ideal choice for eating disorder treatment:

A Day in the Life at CFD

Our schedule creates a great balance between personalized treatment and group therapy, as well as time to put what has been learned into practice. For those in RTC, they can expect to receive care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In IOP, patients can expect care three to five days per week for three hours per day. Here are samples of schedules for PHP levels of care:

PHP

Patients typically attend six days per week, 6-8 hours per day.

Sample weekday schedule:

11:15 a.m. Vitals 3 p.m. Snack prep & snack
12 p.m. Meal prep 4 p.m. Nutrition science
12:30 p.m. Therapeutic meal 5 p.m. Community meeting
1 p.m. Process group 6 p.m. Therapeutic meal
2 p.m. DBT skills 6:45 p.m. Close the day

 

Sample weekend schedule:

9 a.m. Nutrition in the news 12:15 p.m. Lunch prep/therapeutic meal
10 a.m. Snack 1:30 p.m. Conscious social media
10:30 a.m. Process group 2:30 p.m. Snack
11:30 a.m. Discharge planning 2:45 p.m. Close the day
