She believes it is important to work together to provide the best services and resources to the client. Marci is eclectic in her approach to counseling, drawing upon humanistic principles in therapy, using beliefs from a psychodynamic approach, such as the importance of childhood and past relationship patterns on present relationships, utilizing mindfulness and DBT skills and finally using cognitive-behavioral interventions, helping clients understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
