Center for Discovery Fremont is a higher level of care facility in northern California, just a short distance from San Francisco. We are an all adult, female and non-binary residence (regardless of sex assigned at birth) offering treatment to a small milieu of just six patients at a time. Nestled in an estate-like setting, there’s an outdoor rose garden and meditation space. Treatment modalities we offer include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure & response prevention (ERP), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
In addition to receiving evidence-based therapies, patients all have the opportunity to put “joyful” back into movement through yoga and other activities.
Insurances we accept include but are not limited to Fresno County, Kaiser, Humana (Life Sync), and MHN. Please remember that the insurances we accept change frequently. Our insurance team will verify your coverage.
We place a large emphasis on trauma-focused treatment. Our creative arts therapies include creative journaling taught by a Master’s-level creative writing counselor as well as groups facilitated by counselors. Therapeutic yoga is offered three times/week. A special feature at this location is our horticulture therapy, which utilizes gardening to foster emotional and psychological healing.
